Vostro 3510, broken hinge

I just realized there are multiple threads on this problem. Such a bad product. Why you continue selling the machine knowing this problem reoccurring?

I feel the hinges are not solid after buying just few months down the road and now it really broken like everyone else. Take note I never dropped or abused the computer. Very minimal usage. I don't think Dell will cover this under warranty.

I am ready to buy a Dell now, but after reading so many people having the hinge problems and the over heating I am going to look for a used one. I have a old 3521 about 9 years old & everything is perfect, and no over heating. Will look for the next model up from this, icore3 will be good enough for me.

    Thank you for your post.

I bought the same laptop about a year ago. It was barely used for 3 months when the hinge got broken. It was mostly on my desk and I would carry it to campus only on a few occasions.

Please @dell, stop selling this product.
