Win7 RTM on M17x
So through work I have access to the RTM and I want to installed it on my machine, once installed I find it didn't detect any video drivers so I go and download the nvidia 200M drivers for Win7 x64 and go to install and am told that there is no compatible video card found, whats up with that? I ran nvidia's detect utility and its telling me I have to install a custom driver from the laptop maker. I don't see any Win7 drivers from Dell, so what now?

Try reloading the Vista driver. Most will work. Win 7 drives from Dell will only be released(if at all) for your system once the OS is for sale.

I got the RTM from school and the Vista Drivers dont work correctly. Using the Vista Drivers in Windows 7 I am unable to:
-Run with a single GTX 260M
If the M17x manages to boot into SLI mode, I am able to switch between SLI GTX 260's and the 9400, but disabling SLI results in using the 9400 with no option to go back to sli
-Use HDMI for another monitor
If I plug in the M17x into a television my monitor goes black while trying to identify other displays. When I force a restart I have no SLI option.
The funny thing is that my second problem was not a big problem while I was using Windows 7 RC. While the screen would go black, it was only because of being in SLI mode.
Also you might wanna note that trying to force install the drivers from Nvidia through the control panel will not work.
So the Vista drivers work, barely.
