"Alienware AlienFX Tester has stopped working" error..... cannot change lights on Alienware M11x.....
I can't change the lights on my M11x. (I believe it is an r2- the Dell lookup just tells me that my laptop shipped in December of 2010.) I know that the lights will change- if I boot up XCom Enemy Unknown, the color changes from red to blue- so it's got to be an issue with the CommandCenter. I uninstalled CommandCenter, installed a new chipset, and tried to install CommandCenter again, but it is stuck trying to run the Alienware AlienFX Tester. Here are the details of the error.

I updated the chipset after running a system analysis on Dell Product support. The chipset it told me to install was "Intel Canitga GS45, v.9.1.1.1020, A00". The version of CommandCenter I attempted to install was "Alienware Command Center, v.2.5.54.0, A07".
Please help.
