Dimension 3000 Video Card

Hi folks,
I am looking for some advice.  I am not a hardcore game player, but I would like to be able to play if the mood strikes me.  More importantly, I have a nice monitor that I want to be able to take full advantage of when all of the pieces are in place.

I have created a system that will last me a long time based upon my needs as I see them.  Both components are brand new and I should receive them this week.  After reviewing many of the posts on this topic and researching my options, I am wondering if this particular video card would be good for enhancing my experience.  Here are the details:

The Card:
Apollo BLOODY MONSTER 3 GEFORCE FX 5700
Geforce FX5700LE * 128MB DDR * DirectX 9 * Open GL 1.5 * PCI Interface
The price: $89 from Newegg.com (seems to be getting good reviews)

The Computer:
Dimension 3000
"Current" Video Card-Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2
Pentium 4 processor w/HT Technology (3GHz, 800 FSB) (upgraded)
1 GB Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 400 MHz (upgraded)
160 GB Ultra ATA/100 700RPM Hard Drive (upgraded)

The Monitor
Dell 19" UltraSharp 1905FP
1280 x 1024 pixels at 60Hz resolution
Response Time: 20ms
Contrast Ratio:800:1

Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Jon
