Hi,

I've have decided to replace the system disc in my 8400 and re-install Win XP from scratch - This is because my Hard Drive is full, over 7 years old and the OS is so 'clogged' the machine barely runs anymore.

I would therefore be gratful for the following information:

1. What is the largest size system drive the motherboard supports
2. What specification SATA drive would be best suited, I'm assuming SATA drives are backwards compatible so it doesn't matter if a higher spec. drive is used.
3. Any hints or tips from those who may have done this before

My actual machine is a Dimension 8400 P4 processor 630 (3.00GHz,800FSB,2MB cache)
