XPS D233 Bios A09 video problem

I recently upgraded the BIOS on my XPS D233 vrom A08 to A09 and the video has disappeared.  It worked during the initial boot after flashing the BIOS, up until the point it finishes the memory test and lists the compents.  After that it went black and has stayed that way.  I'm using the original AGP video card, I even tried adding a spare PCI video card that I had, neither shows any activity.  There is a warning in the update that mentions problems with PCI video if you aren't using the AGP but I assumed it didn't apply, since I only had the AGP in it then.

I don't get any thing that sounds like a beep code or other problem indicator, it just powers up and you can hear the drives and the fans all turn on and cycle but the video card doesn't seem to activate, my monitor shows no signal.

Does anybody have any thoughts on what I can do to get this back to working?
