I have a new E6500 that is locking up when left idle. I have reinstalled Vista x64 with all current Dell drivers for Vista x64. The unit runs great with no errors until you leave it alone. I have played with the power settings to not shut down the hard drive (Samsung Solid State 64GB) and that seemed to help a little but didn't fix it. The unit will not go to sleep and come back from sleep either. Any suggestions?
