Ok, I have windows XP, an Inspiron 1501 laptop, and an HP deskjet F2210 printer/scanner/copier.
When i first plugged in the printer, installed the program for it and everything, it worked fine. But today, whenever i have the printer plugged in, I get a blue screen and have to restart my computer.  Is this from some bug from the printer, or the laptop? or do i need to have the HP program running on my laptop before i plug in the printer, or turn it on?
