I received my 2407 last night. No noticeable banding with Gradlin (in Desktop mode of course). I see terrible banding on a Yahoo video link's background though.

I take it this is still an issue, even in Desktop mode.

If I keep requesting new monitors is there a chance I will find one that doesn't have this problem or is it inherent in all of them?

Also, does Dell limit the number of new monitors that can be requested? Is the amount of time a customer has to return or RMA a monitor reset after a new one is shipped?

I have no problem mailing 5 or 6 of them back but after that point the amount of time I'm investing in phone calls and mailing has exceeded the additional price of competitor's monitors so I am guessing I am going to end up researching these (feel free to PM any recommendations).
