Today I just assembled my new monitor, I'd like to use the USB 3.0 Upstream cable to activate the 2 USB 3.0 Download ports, however the cable is too short for me and I'd need to extend it by 1ft.

Using a common USB 2.0 extension cable, will it affect the final result?
