If i leave my computer on for a long time with out touching it the monitor will essentially freak out and become very static-y. if i move the mouse around nothing changes, it remains bad. but if i turn the monitor off then back on, like magic, perfect picture again. this monitor is on a secondary machine and it dose not get used every day so it will go a few days at a time with out being touched. and i have not experienced this issue using other monitors using the same cables. I am using it for a pretty decent Windows 7 box and i have looked at all the self testing self diagnostic fixes and everything is fine. but i know its not the video card because this issue only arrises with this monitor. 

the only thing i can think of is that it is some sort of anti burn in protection. but i would like to know exactly what it is if i can. I will post a picture when it freaks out again, so you can see what i mean.
