Hi:

We connected a 6248 switch with 5224. When I look in the address table of the MAC 6248 that has been learned by the port that connects it to the 5224, there is one that does not match a port of 5224. 

It is very similar to the Burned-in-address (BIA), but changing the ending character. What matches this MAC?
