I have more or less a complaint, more than issue. I purchased it very recently second hand Dell otpiplex 7080 and I understand the varranty is over for few months. But I have quite serious issue that happened to me: After purchase I re-installed the Windows11 Pro (little challenge with MS Windows bootmgr, but finished successfuly)  and I downloaded all drivers for my service tag.  Including software called Dell Update. I did let it run on background, and it downloaded some (5) updates - it also downloaded newest Bios 1.39.0 and asked to reboot.  So I did. After reboot it automatically iniciated the flashing of the Bios. The progress bar went to 100% and it said Success! and rebooted. From this point the computer stoped working. The light was solid white, the fans turining, but no indication of anything else, no video signal in montor from integrated graphics nothing. It cycled in every 65 sec off and on again. No screen or anything.  I used ALL possible BIOS recovery tips, holding Ctrp+Esc, not holding it, vent through old USB keys with bios recovery files (named in 3 different versions in root just in case) in USB 2.0 ports in newsr ports as well, front back.  The fans were spinning, and light not blinking but still white. I also tried the bios loader reset (30sec. holding the power button - and it blinked 2x white and then went off.) But no amber Led or other.  The situation did not change, the Bios was bricked - cycling with no screen unable to start any effeort of the bios recovery usb. So in the end I sent it to local repair center and they had to find ANOTHER chip from donor motherboard to make it work again. So - it is not about the money, it is about the principle that OFFICIAL DELL Update software and Bios flashing (no problem during this flashing, no power jump or outage, all went OK) caused total damage of the CMOS chip. After this I cannot recommend Dell  software, especially Dell Update anymore to anyone. I am quite surprised this could happen and that the chip was destroyed (I cannot find other word) by official programs and official Bios update. I have several older Dell Optiplexes, and I was pretty satisfied with them, but none destroyed the chip by itself, and now the trust is broken. Feel free to share with anyone that might be concerned about it and is working on the update software, so they could avoid publishing software that could DAMAGE my computer again. Sorry about the rant, but I still dont have the Optiplex back from the service at the moment and I am a bit 'dissatisfied' with the situation.
