I recently purchased a Poweredge R910 secondhand. It came with 4x X7560 processors, but no RAM.

Initially I purchased 32gb DIMMs for the system not realizing that they would be incompatible with the X7560's, and after learning that they would be incompatible I opted to purchase 4x E7-8867L processors, as they could supposedly support the DIMMs.

Upgrading to the E7's required me to perform a BIOS update, I was having trouble updating. Since I had an improper RAM configuration, I couldn't boot into an OS, so I booted into the CentOS Linux disc image available on Dell's support page and attempted to perform a BIOS update through it.

The system went to reboot, and immediately started on a "Configuring memory" screen, before quickly skipping to "System halted". The LCD display was showing error E2010 No Memory Detected so I swapped processors to the E7's, and got the same results.

I returned the 32gb DIMMs and opted for 8x16gb DIMMs (SK Hynix HMT42GR7BFR4A-PB T8 AD 2Rx4 PC3L-12800R)

I have attempted multiple different configurations but I still can't get past the configuring memory screen.
Right now I am currently running two of the X7560 processors, and have risers A, and C occupied with 4 DIMMs per riser, but I still get the same results.

How can I solve this?
