I was after some advise/experience.... We have a number of servers that have small, 1gb SD Cards, currently running ESXi 6.7  I have a bunch of kit that i need to keep going for a while until funded replacements are available.  I however, do need to update these to ESXi7.  I was looking at utilizing existing setup, however i need a minimum 8GB SD Card to be able to do this.

I havent tested this yet (and will do) but i was wondering if there is the possibility of putting 2 different size cards into an IDSDM module, eg 1gb & 8GB and then mirror the 1GB > the 8GB to retain the setup, which could then be upgraded to ESXi 7 with the additional space.

Any ideas?
