I have added  2 new SSDs to the 7560 but I don't need to use the second for a while, or may use it intermittently so I would like to effectively have it completely powered down, but stll physically connected.

What happens when I disable this SSD in the BIOS - will it remove power from the SSD or is it just a software disable?

I suppose at least it should go into some sort of power saving?

Has anyone got a definitive answer?
