I have installed Windows XP and a printer at LPT1 on my OptiPlex. If I boot the system from Windows 98 bootable CD then from command prompt i can print (i-e. dir > prn) but after booting from XP printing cannot be done by at all (i-e. by a test page, by comman prompt, etc.) i have tried all ways of changing the IRQ and IO addresses even by disabling other serial ports, NIC and sound. Anyone help me in this regard.
