we have following configuration:

• Two Dell R740 servers
• One Dell Unity 380XT storage

Each server is connected to storage directly via 2 fibre channel ports (16GB/s for each port). I tried to create a RAID5 pool with 4+1 SAS disks and created 100GB LUN block. I configured MPIO and creaeted volume from those LUN block.

I get maximum speed 150MB/s with Unity storage with this configuration.

When I create combined LUN block with SSD (or combined), transfer speed is about 400MB/s.

What is standard transfer speed for such configuration? I know it is not recommended to use SAS only pools, however speed about 100-150MB/s seems too low to me.
