I'm new to vOPS server and want to be sure I have some bases covered that I forsee issues with in the future. We change our admin passwords on every server and for ever account every sixty days. Therefore what I put into VMware Connection today will have to be changed during our next passwrord management changes.
What is the process to ensure we don't lose connectivity to cCenter? Is there a way to get to the Connection credentials and change them and should that be done before or after we change the password on vCenter.
After you change password for vCenter user then update connection credentials inside vOPS. It´s important that you modify existing connection and don´t delete and create a new one. Then you will loose all your historic data.
