On my current system I am running Norton Systemworks Suite, Ad-Aware (free version), Windows  Defender (free version),  & Spybot S&D (free version).  I ge tthe feeling that my system is weighed dwon by having so much and I am running the risk of conflicts all the time by having all these packages.  My Norton subscription is up in a month or so and I was wondering if I need to renew it.  Could I even uninstall it and feel that my system is protected by having the other packages alone which are listed above.  Am I leaving myself vulnerable?  If anyone has any good links that could educate me a bit, I'll take that as well.  On one hand I am a paranoid and on the other I feel like I have too much on my system.  Thoughts?
