After you cloned the old drive to the new one did you shut down the system, disconnect or remove the old drive (remove if an M.2 drive), then reboot the system to make sure it boots properly from the new drive? If everything looks good then power down again and reconnect or reinstall the old drive. Then reboot to make sure all goes well.
