Go to SolutionXPS 8940, doesn't boot with extra RAM
Hi!
I bought a year ago two RAM sticks (Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Desktop Memory CT2K32G4DFD832A - Amazon: B07ZLD6Q1G) and they have been working flawlessly for this year. But suddenly, it may have been after an update (I'm not sure, I usually install updates and I can wait then several weeks before rebooting or shutting down the PC), the computer doesn't boot if they are installed, no boot logo, no video. If I quit them, it boots. If I install another set of 2 different sticks, it boots. If I install the sticks in another computer, it boots and recognizes correctly the sticks with the 64 Gb. So what is happening? I have tried RTC reset but no luck, same behavior. Any idea? Thanks!
