Will my XPS 13 9360 continue to support Thunderbolt updates?

Question

I noticed that the last update for TB Controller's patch doesn't support current windows versions (mine is 21h1). I noticed my usage of the eGPU was getting worse and I think it may be for this reason. The last TB Controller's patch was released the date 06 mar 2019.

What can i do? Could this explain my lower gpu performance

@marcot264  Windows 10 gained a native Thunderbolt support, including a Thunderbolt Control Center application, with some release.  I can't remember which one.  Newer systems have just been using that, but I think that replacement application is usable even for older systems that originally provided a Thunderbolt application as part of their driver package, though I may be wrong about that.  But I would be surprised if simply keeping an existing driver version would cause your performance to deteriorate over time, even if you're updating Windows in the meantime.
