Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking, anyone?

Hi guys,

Has anyone tried any digital dication/voice recognition software with vWorkspace?

I've been asked a question from our Director looking to provide this service to our Doctors from their Web/Thin Clients.

  1. Does it work?
  2. Performance - compared to locally installed?
  3. Supported by Nuance?

We use Windows 2003 R2 Terminal Servers and vWorkspace 7.2 with a Full Desktop published to the end users.

Thanks

from past experience I would probably say that you are not going to be happy with the result of trying to provide this unless those end users a located on local networks.  Voice on top of the normal RPD traffic is probably going to kill any normal network thats not LAN latency and performance based (ie, 10Mbit and <3ms response times).  Other then that the latency is gonig to probably cause some serious issues with performance
