vWorkspace 8.6.1, supported SQL migration path
Hi, we are planning updating our vWorkspace farms from 8.0.1 to 8.6.1. The management databases runs currently on a 2008 R2 SQL and should migrate to a 2014 SQL. Unfortunately vWorkspace 8.6.1 does not support 2008 R2 SQL officially. I would prefer to move the databases in a separated step before we update to vWorkspace 8.6.1
My questions because i need a supported SQL migration path:
Supports vWorkspace 8.0.1 a 2014 SQL or should i install temporary a 2012 SQL Express, update to vWorkspace 8.6.1 and move the database after that to 2014 SQL?

Go with SQL 2012 R2 permanent cluster servers, backup and restore your DBs to the new SQL environment, point the #VWorkspace DBa to the new environment. Once everything is working perfectly, do the migration.
