You can connect wirelessly to your network if you have a wireless card and your network contains an Access Point (or a wireless router). If your network doesn't have wireless capability, you could add an Access Point to your router (presuming you have a router).

If you just need to connect to your wired network, a cardbus (PCMCIA) ethernet card would be cheap and would do what you want.
