Hi guys,

I am refering to the document: 069001185_a08_elccnt_0.pdf (API Reference Guid of Centera SDK Version 3.2) which states under FPClip_Write that the ClipId is 64 bytes.

"This function writes the content of a C-Clip to the pool as a CDF and

returns the C-Clip ID (Content Address). This address is 64 bytes."

The given example shows: 42L0M726P04T2e7QU2445E81QBK7QU2445E81QBK42L0M726P04T2 - which is about 53bytes.

On another thread inside the forum (https://community.emc.com/message/542684#542684) I read about 53bytes.

As you can see I am fairly new to this stuff and am unsure about what is the correct answer - 53 or 64 bytes.

To give you some idea about what I am trying to do: I need to check wheter a given address is a valid clip id or - valid equals well-formed (53 bytes and just letters and numbers or some sort of that). Is there a valid regex around?
