I had a similar expereince not more than a few weeks ago. The Technical support rep was not only rude and making sarcastic comments, the rep suggested that I go on ebay to solve my issue. I contacted the manager and its been several weeks and have heard nothing. I even attached the transcript as evidence.

Dell support is really not what it used to be..I'm really struggling with the idea of purchasing new products from them given my most recent experience.

had a bad experience ordering today also, very pushy sales staff and over a month wait for product.

We are living in Australia and we got the problem with 4 Dell (3 Laptop and one Multifunction Printer) broken down on/before the end of warranty.

Everytime we got the promises from the Dell Support to get Calls back to organise a repaire.

But never they called back.

We fight hard to get it organised before the end of the warranty but everytime the Dell "Service" pushed us over the Warranty Date with not-recalling.

We spend a lot of money for the Bin and the next computer what we bought was no Dell anymore.

But who cares? There are enough people they buy and one customer more or less is not important for Dell. Or how can somebody explain our experience?
