Dell Touch Pad issue Inspiron
So to start, I brought a Dell laptop in November 2021 and ever since I brought the laptop I had issues with Touchpad. I had called the customer care several times and they try to resolve the issue for the moment. After a couple of days the problem keeps coming back. Then they asked me to send the laptop for repair as they mentioned that they would repair the trackpad and send it to me in 10 days and returned the laptop to me after 1 and a half month. But then the problem was not yet solved and this time even after the repair, the problem was still going on and this tie it was much worst. The touchpad was not moving at all and I had to restart the laptop multiple times and after that the trackpad works intermittently and then it was having a new problem where my laptop started over heating. Then after having a lot of complaints for 2 months a person from the Dell advanced resolution team called me and was following up on the issue.
After speaking to the Dell advanced resolution and after 2 weeks, the Dell representative replaced my laptop with a new one. I was happy that finally my problem was resolved. But now I'm experiencing the same exact issue with the new laptop as well.
When I called the technical support they say that the laptop is out of warranty(and I just had the laptop for 4 months and the warranty is done, where every laptop is supposed to have a warranty of 1 year). Atleast my previous laptop was a touch screen and I managed to use the laptop atleast without the touchpad. But this laptop has no touchscreen and I cant get my work done without the touchpad working and I have to just shut down the laptop and do nothing.
I think Dell has issues with it's touchpad and they are not finding permanent solution to this problem.
I was planning on buying a new Alienware laptop but now I am skeptical with the type of parts Dell is making. I have come to this conclusion as the 2 consecutive new laptops that I used from Dell were both defective.
So if anyone planning to buy Dell, Don't BUY. Save money and find some other brands.
