There is a chance it was never wired right but since they are GTX 260 cards they didn't have enough pull to cause the shutdown. SWTOR and WOW could be stressing the cards enough and without the right PCI connectors they will shut off. While WOW is 7 years old it has been updated enough to where it is a bigger strain on the system then it used to be.

It seem it's working if i disable SLI and leave only one GTX 260. So it may be related to the power or power connectors when using both cards
