computer says it can run maintenance while i am sleeping. just to leave the system on. does that mean leave everything on the monitor too, ?? or can i turn off the monitor and the maintenance will still get done. also if i am on the computer between 12am and 3am will it still do the checks???

Yes, you can have power management shut down the monitor and still have the maintenance performed automatically. If you are actively using the computer when a maintenance task is scheduled to execute, it doesn't do so. There are settings which let you set the intergral of idle time before the task tries to execute again. Go into task scheduler and highlight and see the properties. You can change them to suit you needs.

Hope this helps.
