Message at start-up

Question

When I re-start my computer I get the message 'found new hardware: IMAGE'. This seems to be a leftover from the Lexmark 73 3-in-1 printer/scanner which I had been using but have uninstalled. The scanner stopped working so I uninstalled the whole thing but then when I tried to reinstall it, only the printer would install. I've removed it all but still the Wizard is detecting the Scanner at startup. Lexmark has told me to contact Dell, Dell has told me to contact Microsoft, and so it goes...any ideas on how to remove this IMAGE please?

Try to boot to Safe Mode and remove anything in the device manager under other devices or anything that has an ! next to it
