No sound from computer
Recently my computer decided not to play sound, literally I shut down and the next time I booted, no sound. I tried re-installing the SoundMax Intergrated audio driver but to no avail. I am at a complete loss

hi peter,
kindly verify that the volume control in windows is not set to mute. also, try using other speakers co'z the speakers might be the ones that are bad. last thing, try to connect a headphone, if the headphone is working, the speakers are bad, but if the headphone is also not working, basically you have a bad sound card.
