Well, it looks like the XPS machines had a small number ship, then nothing.

The 9100s have never shipped. Build time has mysteriously gone from 10 days to 20 days, yet orders placed over two weeks ago are getting a 4/20 ship date - 31 BUSINESS DAYS!

This is beyond ridiculous. I placed an order because I needed a machine. Based on my research, the 9100 fit my needs best and I was ablt to wait the 2 weeks without a machine. As of yesterday, I called the "notification" department and they verified a 3/23 shipping date. Now I get a notice that shipment is another 4+ weeks out???!!!

Now I'm in a bad positiion. If I would have ordered any other system from any other manufacturer (including custom machines), I would have received a system by now. So, I've wasted 2 weeks and I'm looking at FOUR MORE WEEKS before I receive something from Dell.

I just got off the phone with Jamie in the notifications department and he said that they have known about the battery issue since early last week. The graphics card is also delayed.

SOMEONE AT DELL KNEW WEEKS AGO THAT MY ORDER WOULD NOT SHIP TODAY, yet I receive no notice unti the DAY OF the supposed shipment.

Jamie agreed that that did not sound reasonable, does it sound reasonable to anyone?
