Has this always been the case? What BIOS version is your system using? Approximately how long does this "blink" last?

 

I'm using the newest BIOS Version from DELL AE4 i believe. i'm not sure if it happen the first time i received the laptop but now i notice it blinks when i use battery and only last for about 1/2 sec ( after the loggin screen it load the desktop and then went blank and then load the destop again ) but like i said it only happen when i use battery. what do you think might cause this ??

another question :

Is it normal if my laptop is ON BATTERY and then I plugged/unplugged the power cable while its on and my screen went blank a couple times and then back to normal

Ok, I know you wont be able to read this answer, but Im gonna post it here anyway, to those who wanted to know the answer......ATI has an option, under display properties, called POWER PLAY, try disabling that option......that should work, if not, call Latin America Tech Support, they know how to fix everything
