c600 mouse pointer not functioning
i notice over the last while that my mouse pointer was wandering a bit, but now it moves uncontrollably and will drift of the screen up or down.
it doesn't matter if i am using a ps2 mouse, usb mouse, or the built-in mouse pad...
currently have a16 bios, running w2k
any help would be appreciated

and the way that I have resolved the issue is
by disabling ( or physicaly pulling the wires from )
the pointing stick in the middle of the keyboard.
That is what I have dertermined to be the problem,
the pointing stick "sticks" causing the cursor to
drift.
