External Speakers
For some reason, I can't get external speakers to work on a latitude D505, the internal ones are fine. I have downloaded the latest drivers. Anybody help?

If so, any stereo speakers that are powered or self-amplified should work. Passive speakers either will not work or will have low volume. The jack supports stereo speakers, not surround.
