Yes Thank you, I know about the video drivers (I have a Nvidia GF5650) but I was asking about the monitor drivers as at the moment the Dell TFT screen is recognised as 'plug and play monitor'
Anyone know how to find out the model of the TFt screen and the dell driver for it?
If you're using your notebook's LCD, default monitor
is the monitor you're using. The extra downloads that Dell provides are for external monitors that were optionally sold with your system. WinXP natively has all of the drivers needed to run your LCD, and no additional drivers (other than video drivers, as discussed above) are needed.

Ok, this is not a hard question I don't think.
Default monitor is not the monitor that I am using, so where can I find out which monitor I have and hence which drivers I need.
