USB Controller on 1100

Question

I just reinstalled XP Pro on my Inspiron 1100. Now I have an error in my device manager for the USB controller and my USB will not work. I have tried looking for a driver to no avail (even with the resource disk) In particular I am trying a USB flash drive. It worked before with this same OS. Any ideas?? Thanks!

did you install the intel chipset driver?

Yes I did, I installed all the drivers checked on the resource disk, but did not use the Dell restore disk, I did a clean install of XP Pro. Thanks

Did you get Windows Update to SP1?
