It may be a faulty monitor, the 2005fpw I just recieved was super bright in the corners to the point that it was washed out and faded. Call Dell and have them send you a replacement as long as your warrantee is still in effect. Even if it turns out that the monitor isn't faulty, you will only have lost about an hour on the phone.
