Anyone using wireless-N network?

Just as the subject line asks, is anyone using the wireless N network? If so, what brand did you go with? It's pretty pricey, but if it is that much faster than wires-g, I'm willing to pop some coin for it.

I have not used wireless N, but here's an important point.  If the only reason you are considering it is to get a faster internet connection, think again.  The speed of your internet controlled by your ISP.  The fastest cable internet connections are about 15 Mbps.  This is still well below the 54 Mbps of standard wireless G routers, so an N based router running at even higher speed will still only have an internet connection of 15 Mbps.   Furthermore, since N is still not a standard, if you take your laptop with an N based wireless card to a location where there is no N based router, there are potential compability problems, even though N is supposed to be backward compatible with G.

If you need to extend the range of your wireless signal or if you frequently transfer lots of large files between computers on the local network, then the extended range of N will have benifits.

Thanks volcano. I'll just stick the g network I have now then. I have no problem with range around the house.
