D500 Ethernet adapter

I reinstalled XP on new D500 and run driver reinstallation.  I have Dell True Mobile 1300 WLAn (802.11b/g,54Mbps) miniPCI card.  The wireless adapter is installed properly but the ethernet adapter shows question mark in device manager.  I don't see any other driver for the wired adapter.  Does anybody have an idea how to solve the problem?

I'm having the exact same problem. The wireless networking works great but the wired ethernet gives the little ? icon in hardware manager. Very annoying! Did you ever find a solution?

Did you reinstall the Intel Mobile Chipset driver for the D500? If you have the Intel (R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection, did you reinstall its driver?

The chipset driver did it. Thanks so much!

It turned out that the Ethernet driver was not included with the Dell CD with drivers.  I downloaded it from the website and everything worked.  I don't understand how they can miss this.

In my case it turned out that Dell forgot to include the driver for the Ethernet Adapter in the Drivers CD.  Call and find out what is your driver and where you can download it from.

I hope this will help
