need experts help on this
hi
i was hoping if someone could help me solve this prob.
my laptop can share files with desktop, but
my desktop cannot share files with my laptop.
both can ping each others ip address and i have disabled all the secuirty programs.(including windows firewall)
(using a router for internet connection)

it shows me this message... ( \\ipaddress) is not accesible. You might not have permission to access this netowork resource. Contact the administator of this server to find out if u have access permissions. Access is denied.
both are on XP home edition.

2.) Make sure sharing is enaabled and go into local area connection and make sure ip and all that is correct.
3.) Right click on file your want to share (works on folders as well as entire drives) and go to properties.Thus, from there go to sharing tab and make sure all is well.
4.) Go to your account info and make sure no restrictions is on.
