First make sure your DSL modem can connect by ethernet.  If it can only connect by USB, you will likely need a new modem as well since router that connect by USB are next to impossible to find.   Any router that supports the 802.11g protocol will work.  There is no need to get SuperG, HighSpeed or Wireless N routers, because neither your network card nor your DSL connection can run at those higher speeds.  Routers from Linksys, Netgear, or D-Link have good reputations.

Hi Steve

Thanks for the information. I have motorola SB5120 cable modem(external) given by Comcast.
I'll go through for D-link routers supporting  802.11G for using at my home.
