Only the computer with the appropirate account setup can receive e-mail for that account. For example: If you setup machine #1 with your e-mail account only, it can not get you wife's e-mail unless you setup unless you setup her account on that machine also.
Your wireless connection is just a conduit to the internet and does nothing more than open that portal.
