Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

 How is system restore done ? Is it from the BIOS setup ?

 I tried to reinstall all the drivers available in the CD

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Restore.  Set the time for the restore to a point before all this started happening.

HI,

 I tried system restore. It didn't help :(

Any other suggestions, that can help me ?

Try these steps:
 
1. Check the BIOS version, if it is not version A09 then upgrade the BIOS to version A09. Click here to download the BIOS version A09.
 
2. Download and install the Dell Notebook System Software. 

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

 
3. Reinstall the Broadcom 440x NIC driver.
 
4. Check the Device Manager if there are any "?" or !" or "x" on any of the device listed there.
 
*** If you do not have an internet connection on your Inspiron 6000 then download the files using another computer. :smileyhappy:

Hi,
 The BIOS is version A09.
 I installed Dell Notebook software system.
 Reinstalled Broadcom 440x 10/100.
 
 Still not working :( Somebody please help me..
