NIC reconfiguration
What are the necessary steps to reconfigure your NIC card? I have trouble connecting to the Internet because my sister-in-law has her router connected to my pc so she can use her laptop. Sometimes that bothers me on the other end. Ihave DSL through Peoplepc.com and they told me I need my NIC card reconfigured. Do anyone know the steps? Or is the problem her Router? Everytime they log in to the internet, I lose connection, screen freezes........

Rebooting your PC will reconfigure your NIC.
If this does not solve it, ask your guest to remove the hardware so you can have your internet back.
