No Internet Access
I bought an Inspiron 1525 for my daughter. Se recently moved back home and told me that her notebok would no longer connect to the internet. i thought it would be an easy fix, but boy was I wrong!
It will connect to either wireless or lan but states that there is "limited connectivity" with "no internet access" I have tried resetting the routers, connecting directly to the cable modem (Charter Cable) all to no avail. It identifies the network as "unidentified network" I have tried manually entering the IP address, DNS and subnet without success.
This morning I even installed the release cadidate for Windows 7 and still have the same problem. The only thing I know she did to the computer was to unistall Norton (through the control panel).
I can easily connect through this wireless router with my other computer, So I know the problem rests with the laptop. I have been working on this 1 1/2 days now and have run out of ideas.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Not necessary to add internet account - I have a broadband connection that is always open. Once I connect to the secured network I should have network access but I dont. It connects to the wireless router without a problem.
