Wireless connection. Help !!

Question

Hi im thinking about getting wireless. I have a dimension 4550 using broudband through a BT voyager 220v ADSL Voice router via Ethernet. Soon i will get an Inspirion 6400 notebook for my Beadroom.   What do i need to have the internet on my Dimension 4550 and my inpirion 6400 ?   What router do i need ?   How do i set it up ?   What other (if any) components do i need ?

If your BT Voyager has additional LAN ports, you could add an Access Point (AP) or a wireless router.  However, since an AP costs more than a wireless router, most people would opt for a wireless router and configure it as an Access Point.   You should be able to use any AP or wireless router within your budget, and if you want your D4550 to go wireless as well, you would also need to add a PCI or USB wireless adapter.       PS.  Do you do anything other than beading in a Beadroom? :smileywink:
