Wireless help

Hi, i just got my new notebook and im trying to connect to my Linksys wireless router. Its running Vista and i get full signal strength to the linksys router but no internet.

When i map out the network it shows that my router is good but the internet has a X on it. The weird thing is that if i try to get my desktop to work through the router it does not work either but if i plug the internet calbe direct into my laptop or desktop it works fine. 

Is there something i should be looking for or doing with the linksys router ?  I have DSL as well...
